I use a combination of quick questions / exam questions / problem solving questions to make sure that students fully understand how to use the methods and why they work. Maths is easier to remember if you can understand why and also to find the links to other topics. Having taught in various schools I have a variety of methods for each topic so am able to find one that makes sense to you. Using my knowledge gained through being an examiner I can help ensure students understand exactly how to gain the maximum amount of marks available.  Click here for further details on sessions.

• Good stable internet
• A device with a microphone and ideally a camera to show your work
• Calculator
• Printer if students wish to print off work after our session

• Zoom for the call 
• Most of the session will involve me sharing my screen with students, which means I can show students the questions and answers etc
• Worksheets are normally pdfs or pictures
• Shared folder with students on either iCloud or google drive

• GCSE Mathematics any exam board
• GCSE Statistics
• iGCSE Mathematics
• A Level Mathematics including the mechanics and statistics unit

Students will have access to the work we have done in the session and there are always extra questions on the sheets.  I am happy to set extra work if students would like it after each session to deepen their understanding.  

Currently I have moved all my sessions online.  I have found this is better than face to face as students can do it from the comfort of their own home so there is no journey time or forgotten materials.  I help the students learn how to use the resources available on their devices and I believe this makes for better sessions.  All virtual cue cards and resources are then at their fingertips.

I have a strict 24 hour cancellation or rearrangement policy.  Please message me as soon as you know you cannot make your session.
