About Me

From a young age I have always wanted to be a maths teacher.  I achieved a First in a maths degree at Southampton University and then proceeded to become a fully qualified maths teacher through a PGCE secondary mathematics at Cambridge University.  I enjoy working with young people and help them develop a  good relationship with maths.  Whilst working in schools as a maths teacher I was also a sixth form tutor which further drove my ambition to work with students in their last few years of school.

I am a fully qualified secondary maths teacher.  I hold the following qualifications:

- 1st Class honours degree Bsc Mathematics from University of Southampton

- PGCE Secondary Mathematics from University of Cambridge

I have taught in both state and private schools and am an team leader examiner for two exam boards for both the GCSE and A Level examinations helping lead a team of examiners in marking the papers and also helping to decide how best to award the marks. 

My tutoring is all performed online through a mixture of platforms depending on the student's device.  I deliver my lessons using my computer and iPad with an Apple Pencil allowing the student to see clearly what we are doing.  All resources are shared with the student to allow them to edit, print and use as they wish.

I specialise in tutoring mathematics for ages 14 upwards and help students to achieve their best in their crucial exams.  I can tutor all of the exam boards for both GCSE/IGCSE and A Level Mathematics.

As a senior examiner I provide the service to send a set of past papers  and professionally mark them and give feedback.  Allowing accurate and valuable feedback on how students are currently performing.  I can accommodate most GCSE/iGCSE and A Level exam boards.
